We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for management of local team to support COO & People Strategy Business as Usual (BAU) related activities such as training management, communications management, D&I and other global divisional management activities. This role requires developing, and optimizing processes for efficiency, managing vendor relationships and stakeholders in reporting related activities. Read on…What you’ll do in the role:• Lead and manage a team of 4 employees by supporting them in day-to-day BAU and queries as required and ensuring adherence to BAU timelines.• Manages effective response queries and escalates where required.• Empowers principals of each training program to take ownership of the projects for effective deployment.• Create structure within the team ensuring the team provides regular updates related to BAU activities and timelines.• Maintain a detailed book of work, manages allocation of tasks within the team as appropriate.• Shares updates on progress and risks, team capacity, book of work and other updates related to teams' development periodically/ on request.• Provides regular updates to Head of Training on progress, risks, capacity, book of work and team development.• Manages team and career development and approvals for timesheets, holidays etc.• Support the team in drafting communications where required, aligning as per guidance received from communications team and ensuring governance process is followed.• Collaborate and support on wider COO team activities as needed such as on communications support, reward and recognition, managing licenses for key tools etc. • Coordinate with HR Ops team on Learning Management Systems (LMS) for system related updates and assess process impacts.• Identify process efficiencies and learn and develop an understanding on transformation and automation tools that can help achieve the process efficiency.• Manage vendor relationships, invoicing process and escalate to right stakeholders in case of any issues. • Assists manager in program/project planning, developing dataQualificationsWhat you’ll bring to the role:• Minimum bachelor's degree.• 5-6 years professional-related work experience in similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.• Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, adapt management style to suit individuals and ensure team is well supported with a sense of purpose.• Experience supporting large-scale projects in a global matrix across multiple divisions and time zones, with a background preferably in operations, project management or business administration.• Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely according to the audience and demonstrate active listening skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft suite and in creating excel / PowerPoint reports, analysis, and data management.• Prepared to challenge the status quo, raise concerns and/or needs of their team members.• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model.What you can expect from Morgan Stanley: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years.
