Director - Infrastructure Portfolio Management

Job Description

Bruin are working exclusively with a highly-regarded global pension fund to hire a Director within Portfolio & Asset Management Function for their market-leading Infrastructure and Real Assets Team in London.

This position will focus on maximizing portfolio performance across multiple sectors, spanning private infrastructure, real assets and private credit globally. Director will take responsibility for strategic portfolio analysis and collaborate with the execution team to screen potential opportunities, provide investment recommendations, and deliver on the investment objectives.

The Director will:

• Take responsibility for portfolio monitoring and value creation across private infrastructure, property and private credit.
• Contribute to identifying, understanding and mitigating portfolio risks.
• Support the execution team with screening of potential opportunities and provide input on investment decisions, including new acquisitions, ownership and divestments.
• Present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.

Interested candidates must:

• Be currently sitting in the asset management/ investment function within a private equity/infrastructure/energy/private credit team of a highly regarded investment or pension fund.
• Come with proven experience and track record in asset/portfolio management or investment role with a focus on unlisted assets.
• Be able to manage complex and global portfolios.
• Have good understanding of investment principles and risk management.
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be eager to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
