Director, Integration Architecture
What will you do?Lead in the implementation of EA strategies and best practices to support business objectives, while focusing on business process design, solutions, information gathering and technology utilization.Provide guidance to enterprise architects on defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, draft enterprise profiles and segment architecture; controlling risks and solving complex issues related to EA.Maintain relationships with stakeholders, addresses stakeholder requirements and providing clients consultations to shape the future success of EA.Provide EA support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management and segment architecture.Take ownership of Key architecture decisions. You will author important architecture decisions (ADs) ensuring thorough reviews by all stakeholders. You will organize and lead the review of ADs through all levels of architecture governance including CM, P&CB and when required Enterprise Architecture forums.Develop and Socialize Integration Patterns.Influence decision making and facilitate teams with multiple stakeholders at all levels in the organization.Proactively drive rationalization of competing interests and achieve consensus on contentious issues.Provide mentoring and coaching to help nurture the development of developers and architects and help ensure a healthy talent pool for succession planning.Closely work with engineering teams in implementing the target state solutions.What do you need to succeed?Must-have 10+ years of experience in IT specifically in Solutions and Integration Architecture.Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceNice to haveExpert knowledge, experience, and understanding of architecture, application development, application systems design and technology integration, problem solving, expressing architecture patterns and defining complex solution architecturesExceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical, consultative, and team facilitative skillsCapability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with global architecture areas, Application Development, T&O management, RBC business groups, Global Technology Infrastructure, and othersFinancial services experience in Payments and Payments systems.Experience implementing FedWire, CHIPS, ACH, SWIFT and RTP solutions.Experience in APIs, Micro services and Event Based ArchitecturesExperience in Cloud Computing and Public Cloud PlatformsExperience leading and/or working with technical squads using Agile MethodologyExperience designing resilient enterprise applications using On Premises and Cloud computing platformsWhat’s in it for you?
