Director M&A - Renewables Energy

​The Position:Build and lead the M&A department with a focus on projects and companies in the renewable energy sectorDevelop and implement M&A strategies to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targetsLead the entire M&A process from due diligence through negotiations to integrationCollaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including investment bankers, lawyers, consultants, and potential target companiesAnalyze and assess market trends and opportunities in the renewable energy sector to support the bank's strategic directionPrepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and the boardEnsure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policiesDevelop and maintain networks within the industry to identify potential partnerships and growth opportunitiesLead and develop a highly skilled team of M&A professionalsThe Person:A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field15+ years of professional experience in M&A, with a focus on renewable energy or related sectorsProven experience in successfully executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integrationExcellent analytical skills and the ability to develop and interpret complex financial modelsStrong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills in German and EnglishStrategic mindset with strong business acumen and a high degree of results orientation
