Director, Offshore Process

Audubon is currently seeking a Director, Offshore Process to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Director of Offshore Process Engineering is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing process engineering activities for offshore projects. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive expertise in process engineering, offshore project execution, and team leadership to ensure operational excellence, safety, and efficiency in the development and delivery of offshore engineering solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Strategic Leadership:


Develop and implement strategic plans for offshore process engineering to align with company goals and industry standards.


Drive innovation and adopt new technologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.


Project Oversight:


Provide technical oversight and guidance for all offshore process engineering projects.


Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.


Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure project milestones are achieved.


Team Management:


Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of process engineers.


Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.


Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal team performance and project delivery.


Technical Excellence:


Ensure engineering designs adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.


Conduct regular technical reviews and audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations and best practices.


Drive the development and standardization of engineering tools, methodologies, and processes.


Client and Stakeholder Engagement:


Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.


Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and meetings to enhance its reputation and influence.


Act as the primary point of contact for process engineering matters related to offshore projects.


Risk Management:


Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with offshore process engineering activities.


Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project resilience.


Budget and Resource Management:


Prepare and manage budgets for process engineering activities, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.


Optimize resource utilization to achieve operational efficiency.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree .


Minimum of 20 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 15 years in offshore projects.


Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing large-scale offshore projects.


In-depth knowledge of offshore engineering standards, codes, and regulations.


Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Ability to navigate complex technical and operational challenges with strategic vision.


Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to process design and simulation.
