Director of Operations

Your newpany With decades in the construction industry, our client is a full-service general contractor. They deliver large, medium, and small projects in a variety of sectors, including Healthcare, Social Housing, First Nations, K-12, Post-Secondary Education, Institutional andmercial and are looking to add to their executive team. Your new role As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of thepany with a focus on Project Delivery. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior leadership to set operational goals and drive thepany’s strategic vision. 2. Efficiency Enhancement: Identifying areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. 3. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Supervising and providing feedback to managers across various departments. 4. Resource Allocation: Managing procurement processes, allocating resources, and ensuring optimal utilization. 5. Customer Support: Overseeing customer support processes to enhance satisfaction. 6. Financial Oversight: Reviewing financial data and adjusting budgets to promote profitability. 7. Policy Formulation: Revising and formulating policies to align with organizational objectives. 8. External Partnerships: Managing relationships with external partners and vendors. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Director of Operations or in an equivalent position. 10 years of project management experience working with a General Contractor in Vancouver. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
