Director of Operations - Hospitality - Angola

Directly supervises the Managers of the operational departments, complying with all Group Policies and internal standards.Responsibilities include employee recruitment and selection, employee integration, on-the-job training, career management, complaints management and problem solving.Ensures that the various Managers correctly develop the employees in their teams, taking into account each of the functions.Replaces the General Manager when needed.Ensures that service standards are met and makes suggestions for improvement to the General Manager.Ensures the efficient management of the various departments, particularly with regard to compliance with the budget and the achievement of objectives.Analyses the P&L in detail on a monthly basis and reports to the General Manager.Creates up-selling strategies, together with the operational departments, in order to leverage sales.Closely monitors the customer and anticipates their needs.Ensures that the group's regulations and standards are applied and complied with.The Successful ApplicantHolder of a Degree in Management or Hotel Management, you have at least 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry with at least 3 years of experience in a hotel leadership position. An expatriation experience is requested, preferably in Africa. Fluency in Portuguese as well as in English is mandatory.What's on OfferOur client offers a competitive package.
