Responsibilities:

This is a position for someone with strong piping experience who can lead and help build a team of piping installers and fabricators.

• Review drawings for best and most efficient installation practices
  
• Order piping materials for prefabrication and installation
  
• Schedule delivery of materials in a timely manner
  
• Support foreman in the field
  
• Supervise quality
  
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction piping crews
  
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  
• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide work processes
  
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
  
• Utilize piping and fabrication tools and trouble shooting as required
  
• Manage project contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions
  
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and resource allocation
  
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment or all personnel
  
• Utilize software tools such as Procore, Outlook, Excel, Procore for project management and documentation

Requirements

• Proficient in project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow
  
• Must have experience in copper, steel and plastic piping including brazing and welding
• Strong understanding of construction methods; materials, and equipment used in pipeline projects
  
• Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of plans
  
• Knowledgeable in quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship
  
• Familiarity with budgeting practices to effectively manage project costs
  
• Experience with contract management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  
• Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment
