Job Summary:
The Director of Workforce Strategy will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing workforce operations to drive growth and efficiency. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong data analytics skills, business and financial acumen, project management experience, and expertise in workforce strategy. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments, influence senior stakeholders, and lead projects to successful completion. Additionally, the role involves presenting strategies and results to senior leadership. This role supports the VP of Workforce Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align WFS programs to support of business needs with sector leadership.
- Create and execute Smart Labor strategies using technological solutions.
- Partner with sector Labor Champions to customize strategies based on business lines and models.
- Make data-driven decisions, utilizing performance metrics and KPIs.
- Evaluate activities and refine priorities to meet business objectives in both time and scope.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, and IT to ensure alignment of goals across the organization.
- Use data to identify new opportunities for labor savings and process improvement.
- Pilot new tools, applications, and processes, and evaluate them for viability and scalability.
- Present Workforce Strategy program and progress to leadership and business reviews.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with a focus on workforce strategy, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to reach strategic business goals.
- Strong expertise in data analytics, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar.
- Familiarity in development and implementation of programs from strategy through execution.
- Solid business and financial acumen, with experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
