• POSITION SCOPE:

  Under general supervision, is responsible for safe, reliable and economic design and construction work associated with changes, additions and improvements to the overhead and underground electric delivery system, to provide electrical service to customers. Provides support and counsels personnel on the engineering of the electric delivery system, including the administration of engineering standards, procedures and practices related to the provision of service from the Company’s electric delivery system.  Preparation of estimates, construction drawings, material specification and lists, procurement forms, work orders, contracts, and asset management reports.  These duties require the engineer to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and with all areas of the Company.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college/university is required.
• Experience in project management with demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team environment a plus.
• Strong communicator both oral and written with highly developed inter-personal, training and computer skills.
• Strong Computer skills to include Microsoft Suite and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as operate with a minimum of supervision.
