Documentation Controller - Nuclear
SUMMARY OF ROLE:- Handle the transmittal of documents between Emerson and our Customers- Ensure that documents are submitted and received on time, and accurately stored in our document repositories- Build, update and maintain, with other factories, the documentation submission planning on each KOB- Provide regular documentation status reports, Emerson’s Management team, PMO Managers and Project Managers (RDSL, PDSL, RFT)- Be responsible for the management of all documents and correspondences as per internal and contractual rules on KOB orders for the Business UnitIN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:- Communicate effectively with the PMO Managers, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Customers (Project Teams and Documentation Controllers)- Understand documentation requirements as defined by the contracts and applicable procedures- Build and maintain with the Project Managers the List of Documents to be submitted during contract execution and the associated submission schedule- Build, maintain, develop a documentation archive for each KOB Project- Prepare documents and correspondences to be submitted, in line with contractual rules: use of contractual templates and relevant procedures- Check that the documentation sent to our Customers meet our quality standards (references, revisions, status, verification & approval process,…) and Project or Customer specifics- Manage the flow of documentation within the organization- Contact internal resources to expedite overdue documents needing to be prepared or reworked- Run, monthly status reports on documentation at different levels (Nuclear Business Unit, Plant level, multiple-plant projects, projects, and contracts). Issuance of Documentation KPI’s (OTD, RFT, Lead-time, ..)- Participate in the implementation and improvement of a Documentation Management System for the nuclear business.Who You Are:You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.
