What You Will Enjoy Doing
Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsibilities include lead of installation, startup, maintenance, training and troubleshooting of downstream equipment in all ALPLA plants within the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Project team to coordinate installation, startup and handover equipment from OEM to Production:
Ensures equipment is suitable for the application (FAT).
Ensures equipment is installed correctly and free of damage.
Ensures all documentation is in place.
Ensures PMs are setup and in place.
Confirms all installed downstream equipment is functional and handover ready (SAT).
Ensures plant personnel are able to independently maintain newly implemented production lines.
Main point of contact for OEM vendors
Verifies correct application and/or change parts requirements.
Schedules onsite support & startup of new equipment
Coordinates trainings specifics as required.
Leads by setting expectations and applying best practices to all U.S sites
Troubleshoots equipment and provides site support, as needed, remotely and onsite.
Uses CMMS and Production reports to ensure downstream equipment is suitable and reliable by analyzing downtimes to determine opportunity areas, implement solutions to minimize downtime and evaluate spare parts on hand.
Tracks and analizes bottle loss to ensure maximum productivity.
Evaluates systems/machinery to ensure suitability for the application in existing plants.
Helps to standardize equipment within the US.

Experience :
4 year technical degree
3 years working experience in similar field
Qualification/Skills:
Must be able to travel up to 60%
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational skills
Good leadership skills
Basic skills in Project Management
Basic understanding of PLC programs
Experience with packaging equipment – robot station palletizers, basic automated sorting systems, bottle label applicators, carton erectors, vision systems, etc.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems
Proven track record in training hourly employees
Proven ability to write troubleshooting guidelines & work instructions
Proficient in using AutoCAD
Proficient with computer applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Proficient in CMM systems (preferably MP2)
