Drill Rig Fitter
The RoleVentia are currently seeking to engage a Drill Rig Fitter to join our Rig & Wells team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will see you based in the field performing preventative and reactive maintenance to equipment associated to our minerals sector. You will also work alongside other field staff and management to ensure seamless operation of the fleet. This is a full-time permanent role working 12hour days on a 2:2 roster with flights provided from your closest capital city. Benefits: $65.00 to $82.60 per hour (flat) depending on experience Ongoing career development and opportunities Be part of a company that cares about its people with great team culture with a proud history True work-life balance with the ability to relax and focus on your loved ones and hobbies in your time off Key duties, but not limited to: Servicing and repairs on Drill Rigs, Trucks, Compressors and Light Vehicles Accurately maintain records of works completed Diagnostics and fault finding activities Breakdown support Requirements: Driver’s License (MR minimum) – HR or greater is highly regarded Trade Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Diesel Fitting Have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and be a team player The proven ability to fault find and troubleshoot under pressure Previous experience working in the drilling industry – Highly regarded Fire Suppression, Airconditioning, Telehandler and Backhoe tickets – All highly regarded The CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
