Drill Rig Operator

Randstad Launceston is looking for an experienced Drill rig operator to join our team, This role is immediate start with full time hours and will require statewide travel for major projects. This role could lead to permanent employment once company probation has been completed.About the role:A Piling Drill Rig Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery used in construction and foundation projects. This role involves precisely driving or drilling piles into the ground to create stable foundations for structures.You will be responsible forOperating piling rigs for driving or drilling piles across projectsDrill and install foundation pilesConduct daily machine safety checksEnsure precise placement of piles according to project specificationsDirect workers engaged in operating machines to drive piling and sheetsAdhere to health and safety legislationMaintain accurate logs and reportsRead and interpret gauges, meters, and instrumentsRequirements:Experience as an Operator, Crawler Crane experience in piling, civil earthworks or miningWhite cardAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to adapt to change within a fast-paced and changing environmentStrong leadership and time management skillsAbility to solve problems quickly and communicate with construction workers on-siteA valid driver’s license with a clean historyReliable with a strong work ethicPhysically fit and able to work in various and challenging work conditionsHow to apply:If you think this is you then please send through your resume to or for a confidential chat to discuss further please call Glen on 0408 717 131At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
