Drilling Engineer

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Drilling Engineer on behalf of our client, an E&P Operator based in Aberdeen 

This role is a contracting (12-months) position, based full time in the clients office.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the planning, execution, and management of drilling operations in offshore oil and gas fields. 

• Designing well programs, selecting appropriate drilling equipment, and ensuring operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. 

• Monitor and analyze drilling performance, making real-time decisions to optimize operations 

Key Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Proven experience in offshore drilling operations, preferably in the UKNS. 

• Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements for offshore drilling.
