Drilling Safety Officer (HSE Officer)

Ensuring compliance with Corporate EH& S policies as well as local & international EH&S standards and requirements and liaising with external authorities on EH&S compliance issues as required. Conducting regular site inspection for all environmental health and safety related matters. Reviewing incident investigations reports and providing feedback and suggestions on follow up plans. Ensuring EH&S records and maintained and up to date and providing EH&S analysis and reporting to the Corporate office. The Profile Qualification requirement: Preferred Engineering Graduate/Diploma in ENgineering Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or any graduate technical degree of minimum 3 years regular full time course from a recognized and reputed University with 6 years experience as Safety Personnel in the relevant field / 8 years Rig Experience (Operation/Maintenance) Diploma in Engineering from a recognized and reputed Institute of University as regular full time course with 8 years experience as Safety Personnel in the relevant field / 8 years Rig Experience (Operation/Maintenance) Successfully passed High School from a recognized and reputable Institute, with minimum 12 years experience, inluding 10 years as Safety personnel int he relvant field / 10 years Rig Experience (Operations/Maintenance) Safety Certification: Shall possess NEBOSH International General Certificate and in Occupational Health & Safety and NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operation Safety Present Position Experience: 3 years experience in rig-operation Job Type: Full-time Experience: Safety Personnel: 6 years (Required) Rig (Operation/Maintenance): 8 years (Required) Safety profession in RIg Operation: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (Required) Occupational Health & Safety (Required) NEBOSH Inter Technical Cert in Oil & Gas Operation Safety (Required) Job Location: Kuwait The Employer Our client is a dynamic and cutting edge labour consultancy, providing businesses with Human Resources and Industrial Relations and Training services.
