Lead & manage a multi-disciplinary team Be part of a busy, collaborative environment About Our Client Court Services Victoria (CSV) is a public entity, formed to strengthen the independence of Victoria's courts and tribunals, and to put court administration into the hands of an entity directed by the judiciary. CSV play a key role in promoting the safety and security of Victorian communities and contribute to social cohesiveness and economic prosperity by resolving disputes and deciding cases within a framework of excellence, timeliness and accessibility. The Drug Court is a statutory division of the Magistrates Court of Victoria and provides an alternative sentencing option for when a persons drug and/or alcohol dependency is demonstrated as a factor in their offending. Participants are provided with an opportunity to complete a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Order ('DATO') in order to improve participants health and well being, thereby reducing offending behaviour and increasing community safety. Job Description We are seeking a well-established leader and someone who has experience in managing the supervision of staff within a complex multi-jurisdictional environment. You will be required to create and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant services, the local community, stakeholders and team members. You will work to ensure that the day to day operations of the Drug Court are in line with best practice, and that treatment and support is reflective of the most relevant and current research surrounding effective drug and alcohol intervention. About the Role: Lead and manage a diverse team, including clinical advisors, and administrative staff Oversee and manage the day to day operations and resources of the Drug Court, including a multidisciplinary team, assets, stakeholders, and resources Recruit, develop, and regularly evaluate staff to enhance performance, service delivery, and professional growth Identify and address service gaps, trends, and resource issues, and coordinate quality assurance systems Contribute to business planning to promote the delivery of a high-quality service Be an active member of the wider MCV Drug Court leadership team, with regular engagement with the Operations Manager across all four MCV Drug Courts The Successful Applicant We encourage you to apply if you possess the following: 3+ years experience in a leadership/senior management role supervising staff within a judiciary, welfare, social work or government environment Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team Capacity to establish effective working relationships with the judiciary, legal professionals, and service/court staff Ability to foster a collaborative and productive work environment Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
