Dust Collection regulations have made this a quickly growing market and MTSI is in need of additional people to service it.
We are looking for HVAC and/or Dust Collector Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will install, service, or repair Air Purification / Dust Collector systems in commercial establishments.
Beginners willing to learn and grow into the role can apply. Start as 1099 contractors with high performers to be offered full-time positions.
Ultimate goal is to become experienced enough to conduct inspections, suggest solutions, and carry jobs through to fruition.
Experience in a HVAC service technician role and/or hold an EPA certification is a plus but not required. Must be a team player who is comfortable working independently, love the feeling of a job well done, and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:
- Repair or service Dust Collector, ventilating, ducting and associated systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, calculating air flow, or replacing parts.
- Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
- Test pipe/tubing joints for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, etc.
- Having, or willing to learn, Dust collector maintenance, workings, etc.
Qualifications:
- Past experience as an HVAC / Dust Collection service technician or comparable education a plus
- Valid Drivers License
- EPA Certification a plus
- Experience with operation and maintenance of Dust Collectors, Ducting, and associated parts a plus
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
- Willing to travel to work locations for extended times and occasionally work in difficult areas: outdoors, hot, messy, off the ground.
