Dynamic 365 Project Operations & Power Apps Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Summary:
As a Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Apps Consultant, you are considered a Solution Specialist and have in-depth knowledge of D365 Project Operations and the Power Platform. You are energetic and passionate about Dynamics 365 Project Operations and the Power Platform and how they can be used to solve complex business problems. You have in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Project Operations in the utility industry.

You will lead project implementation teams and provide architecture guidance and direction, leveraging your deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute across all phases of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Cloud (e.g., Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, and Test).
• Leverage technical expertise to design and build solutions for energy sector clients. You will be required to be hands-on with Microsoft Cloud for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.
• Liaise effectively between clients, internal team members, and third-party vendors to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
• Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Design and build appropriate solutions, leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem and third-party applications available to Utility or Energy.
• Analyze, understand, and map client data from legacy systems to the Common Data Model and the client's solution-specific data model.
• Work under general guidance and direction, but fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decision-making related to work processes.
• Mentor peers and lead by example both within projects and through internal professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understanding of common energy and utility standard business practices supported by the Microsoft Cloud for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform.
• Experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Power Platform (PowerApps Portal, Canvas and Model Driven Apps, Power Automate), and Common Data Service.
• Experience in Configuration and Customization of Dynamics 365 Project Operations (Plugins, JavaScript, Logic Apps, Azure Functions), Web API, and SSIS.
• DevOps with Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Familiar with the core Microsoft offerings.
• Proposal Writing, Product Demonstration, and Presentations.
• Consulting experience working with Utility or Energy clients of all sizes, including enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated experience leading workshops at various project implementation phases to collaborate and lead the client to timely decision-making that will ensure a successful implementation project.
• Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan.
• Implementation experience in the Utility or Energy sector.
• Strong time management skills with proven ability to work across multiple large, complex, and/or high-priority projects and consistently meet project deadlines, project priorities, and client requirements.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills.

Skills:

• Knowledge of Java Application servers like Oracle WebLogic, Apache, or IBM WebSphere.
• Understanding of Internet technologies like HTML, XML, WSDL, scripting .
• Understanding of Cloud Technology and Solutions.
• Utility Industry knowledge.
