Job Description
As a EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our project implementation and delivery processes. You will be responsible for the safety of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to safely deliver the completion of projects. This role will be based full time onsite in a project based in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular formal site audits and carry out inspections as directed in the Safety Management system.
- Responsible for the proper implementation of the EHS & Security Plan as per site/company requirements.
- You will be responsible to carry out company EHS procedures.
- Provide training and information to the workforce using appropriate training aids and media, communicating, and promoting initiatives for accident prevention and greater EHS awareness.
- Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
- Review incident records and verify that all follow-up actions are completed.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years in a managerial EHS role
- Thorough knowledge of relevant environmental health & safety legislation.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, OSHA 500, or equivalent
- Ability to provide and support EHS implementation direction and support.
- Experience in managing a team.
- At least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Experience in data centre construction projects
