Job Summary
A career minded person who is interested in developing and increasing civil engineering knowledge, primarily in water and wastewater. Engineer will work in various aspects of water and wastewater including: treatment, distribution, collection, pumping, and storage. Engineer will work in various phases including planning, drafting, design, or construction of projects. Engineer will develop designs and drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and other data as required per client requests under direction of the project engineer.
General Accountabilities
Work independently with minimal direction from the project engineer.
Communicate clearly with project engineer on project design, documents and reports.
Knowledgeable in design criteria for water and wastewater systems.
Develop engineered drawings and details to include into construction documents utilizing CAD software.
Perform engineering calculations.
Carry out construction inspections for compliance with industry and client standards on construction projects.
Attend project sites and meetings with clients.
Complete reports to document designs and meet regulatory submittal requirements.
Quality check all work completed.

Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or one of its specialties.
EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
