Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

Working Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team at a leading lighting manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience working with mechanical or electrical assembly processes. You will be responsible for assembling high-quality lighting products in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble lighting fixtures and components according to technical drawings, assembly instructions, and quality standards.
• Install and connect electrical components, such as wiring, switches, and bulbs, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, inspecting for defects and ensuring adherence to company specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to report any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, product quality, and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory control and part management as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; technical training or certification in assembly or electronics is a plus.
• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role .
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, instructions, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to work with small components and in confined spaces.
