Job Summary Role : PM EMEA & APAC  Business Area: 80 sites in 22 countries - 3700 employees - €1.2b revenue. Capex ca 70 M€ per year. The E&A Engineer is a member of the Center of Expertise team (CoE) of the BA. He supports the industrial project managers by leading the electrical & automation engineering part of the projects.Expert in his fieldSafety referent for electrical standardsLeads several projects in parallel within diverse teams across the BATravels: up to 40% in Europe for energy assessmentsLocation: any Imerys location in Europe, preferably close to transportation facilitiesResponsabilities : Define electrical & automation design of projects under the responsibility of the project managerHelp the project manager establish the project cost estimate for the electrical and automation partEnsure design is compliant with Imerys standards, safety protocols, local regulations and local requirements/constraintsEnsure design is always optimized in terms of safety, operability, scheduling, long term evolution and costsEstablish technical scopes and specifications to fulfill project requirements, participate in the procurement phase together with the purchasing teamAnalyze and assess technical offers, provide recommendations on supplier’s selectionManage project execution, follow on site works, lead reviews, Factory and Site Acceptance TestsLead commissioning phases of the electrical and automation part together with local teamsManage costs against project budget in alignment with the project managerProvide feedback, reports and ad hoc documentationTrain local teamsKey interfaces: BA CoE, BA operations, IT, Purchasing, EHS, contractorsAccountability : Safety on all projects under his/her responsibilityCompliance to electrical standardsProject delivery on time, in budget, at expected performanceCompetencies & Experience Key competenciesElectrical engineering backgroundHigh knowledge in Industrial automation systems - 4.0 skills would be a plusHigh knowledge in electrical codes and standardsProject management skillsComfortable in a multinational environmentContinuous Improvement mindset - Focused on targets - Flexible - Team playerExcellent written and verbal communicationLanguages: Fluent spoken and written English  + another languageIdeal background/ experienceElectrical/Automation projects at medium/small scale10 years of experience managing automation and electrical engineering activities in an industrial environmentTypical profileProject electrical engineerPlant electrical maintenance engineerPosition TypeFull timeandPermanent
