Electrical CAD Technician

We are a leader in the alternative fuels marketplace, providing custom engineered and manufactured processing equipment in the compressed natural gas and liquid natural gas markets. We are looking for a dynamic, enterprising individual to add to our growing business.
This position is responsible for interfacing with engineering to create accurate schematic drawings and panel layout assemblies using AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. The position will involve creating 2-D documentation and bill of materials (BOMs), as well as revising drawings based upon annotated redline drawings. The applicant should be comfortable managing and modifying existing 2-D drawings utilizing pre-existing formatting and drawing structures. The applicant must be familiar with document revision control and understand how to work constructively with other designers and engineers within the company.
Capabilities:
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD (or similar 2-D drafting package).
- Ability to read, understand, and create 2-D drawings and associated bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ability to read, understand, and create electrical schematics.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Education/Experience: AutoCAD (or similar CAD package) experience of at least 1 year, with 2 years . Experience with reading electrical schematics, and a basic understanding of electrical principles.
Pay: Pay based on technical experience and expertise.
