Role Overview:


We are seeking an Electrical Construction Manager with experience in major infrastructure and/or Oil and Gas projects to join our team and support the ongoing execution phase of Balance of Plant EPCM Contract for a 6.5b EUR mega project in Sweden.





The Electrical Construction Manager will be responsible to manage the electrical construction activities until the Construction Completion and/or Commissioning phase. This person will be in charge of managing a team of the corresponding Works Packages/Work Activities: Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Erection, Construction and Commissioning.





This person will oversee, manage and mobilize the necessary site team and ensure that all the site electrical erection activities are covered and properly managed during the construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up stages.


 


Responsibilities

• Manage, Coordinate and Supervise the Electrical Construction on Site, ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, regulations, and safety codes.
  
• Review the construction and commissioning schedule and cost and to formulate plans of actions.
  
• Coordinate with the engineering office for seamless integration of plans and execution of construction activities.
  
• Manage and lead a team of supervisors, providing direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Ensure project milestones are met and report progress to stakeholders.
  
• Assure the quality control, Health, Safety, Social and the Environmental procedures.
  

Requirements

• 20 to 25 years of experience in Site/Construction Supervision/Management and with 10 to 15 years of experience at large industrial projects, preferable in Metals, Mining and/or Oil& Gas Sectors.
  
• or high level in English C1 or C2.
  
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.
  
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  
• Experience in the erection of electrical substations, MV, LV, I&C and telecom infrastructures.
  
• Familiar with Swedish codes and regulations.
  
• As the project location is in Europe, it will be required European Citizenship and/or working visa available to work in Europe.

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering (Electrical)
