Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Technician to work for an established, growing business in the Thornton and Leyland areas, in an industry that is future proof.

Job Role: Shift EIC Technician

\n

Salary: £44600.00 per annum
Contract type: Permanent

\n

Location Leyland/ Thornton Facility

\n

Working hours: Average 37.8 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, 5 shift system, 24/7
6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am - 2 days, 2 nights on 7 cycles followed by an 18day break.

Shift EIC Technician Roles and responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • The Shift EIC Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
  • \n

\n

Required Skills / Qualifications Required:

\n

    \n
  • Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics
  • \n

\n

Engineering) to ONC/HNC Level

\n

    \n
  • Evidence of continued development in relevant discipline and core competences
  • \n

  • Knowledge of the Waste processing industry
  • \n

  • Ability to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner
  • \n

  • Provide evidence of working to deadlines and under pressure
  • \n

  • Evidence of working in an organised manner
  • \n

  • Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
  • \n

  • Evidence of using effective problem-solving techniques
  • \n

  • Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
  • \n

  • Detailed knowledge of waste processing plant, machinery and associated systems or FMCG Chemical and industrial industries.
  • \n

  • Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
  • \n
