Electrical Controls Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a machinery manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Controls Engineer to join their Leeds facility.Our client is looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer who is comfortable working alone on smaller projects or as part of a larger project team. The successful candidate will take on this diverse role and become involved in all aspects of projects from Sales to Commissioning and aftermarket support.Duties of the Electrical Controls Engineer include:Design and Specification for Electrical Controls for high-pressure hydraulic equipmentPLC system design and Programming for Control SystemsWork together with customers on specifications & designPreparing, assist & present to potential customersLiaise, resource and research with suppliers on technology requirementsLiaise with our sales team on technical support & pre-sales design and informationWe would be keen to speak with Electrical Controls Engineers with the following:HND / Degree or equivalent apprentice trainingProven experience in a similar roleKnowledge & understanding Siemens S7 (TIA Portal)Proven Experience in PLC Programming - Ladder, High-Level Programming such as SCLExperience in WinCC and HMI DesignsFunctional Safety and Safety Programming experienceCAD Experience (AutoCad, Eplan, Solidworks)Knowledge of Electrical controls legislation (Regs, LV Directive,)Rockwell PLC platformsMicrosoft 365 (Office Tools)This is an exciting time to join as the company is continuing to expand and grow their teams.
