Job DescriptionElectrical Shift Engineer (Continental, Days only!) – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – Liverpool Street - £48,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Maintenance Electrician to be based in a large office in Liverpool Street. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G, 18th Edition) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the on-site maintenance team, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £48,000, further training, overtime and career progression.

 

Duties

\n
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)

\n

• Emergency lighting

\n

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)

\n

• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)

\n

• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets

\n

• Pumps, motors

\n

• Water Treatment

\n

• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)

\n

• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.

\n

• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.

\n

• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

\n

• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.

\n

• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.

\n

• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.

\n

• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

\n

Hours of work

• Continental Shift – Days only 07:00 am- 19:00pm

Requirements

\n
• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 or equivalent (Essential)

\n

• 18th edition wiring regulations

\n

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

\n

• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

\n

• Multi-skilled

\n

• Good communication skills

\n
