Great opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer for this long established MEP Multi office consultant based in their London offices working on mostly residential schems 2 through to stage 5. \n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\nDefining the installation requirements of electrical systems and components\nResponsible for undertaking electrical services design including lighting, small power, fire alarms, CCTV and security system\nPreparation and configuration of standard and custom wiring drawings\nPerforming electrical load analysis\nSupporting problem solving during manufacturing build process and through aftermarket queries\nHV/ LV designing\nProducing lighting and cable calculations using Amtech and Dialux\nCoordinate with the 2D and 3D CAD and Revit MEP teams to create models\nPerform the role of Electrical Design Lead at internal and external design review meetings.\nSupervising and mentoring an electrical design team to ensure the quality of the design output and achievement of deadlines throughout the project.\nEvaluating technical requirements and providing viable solutionsRequirements:\n\nDemonstrable experience and knowledge/qualifications in Electrical Building Services Engineering design\nExperience in specification writing (NBS or NES type) would be beneficial\nExperience in thermal modelling/EPC assessment would be beneficial\nExperience of sustainable design solutions\nKnowledge and application of Building Regulations (Part L, Part F etc.) and appropriate British Standards (heating, natural gas, pipework systems etc.)\nKnowledge of RIBA Plan of Work/BSRIA Building Services Design Framework process\nAbility to manage workload of multiple projects and prioritise workload \n\nThis role is outside IR35 and avaialble on a hybrid basis \n\nYour expert recruitment consultant is Trevor Parsons, call today on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
