Electrical Engineer

Our client, a very well-established Mining company in Western Australia, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on an initial 12-months contract based in Perth, WA. 



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performing detailed electrical engineering design to meet the project's regulatory specifications, schedule, and budget. 

- Performing complete calculations and deliverables such as cable sizing, load lists, equipment lists, etc.

- Detailed designing in HV Substations, Transmission Lines, 100MW Solar Farm, Battery Storage Facilities, Wind Farm

- Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions

- Communicate effectively with the Electrical Engineering team and project stakeholders

- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. 



KEY REQUIREMENTS

- A recognized degree in the Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent

- A good working knowledge in Detailed engineering design, completing calculations and deliverables 

- Preferably working experience with Substation designs (HV Substations, transmissions, Solar Farms, Battery Storage Facilities, Wind Farm)

- Passionate and willing to learn attitude
