Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, your duties will include:



Design of safety systems.

Detailed design of electrical cabinets.

Responsible for originating all electrical drawings.

Responsible for originating all pneumatics drawings.

Actively participate in build and run up testing of machines.

Support build and commissioning teams with electrical fault diagnosis.

Assist controls engineer on commissioning activities.

Responsible for electrical safety, electrical risk assessments and standards compliance.

Origination of electrical BOMS



To be considered for the Commissioning Engineer role, you must have:



5 years minimum experience in designing machine electrical systems from start to finish

Experience using SolidWorks would be an advantage

IOSH or equivalent health and safety would be ideal

Knowledge of different motor drive technologies such as DC, Stepper and AC Motors

Excellent communication skills
