Electrical Design Engineer – Confidential Role (Hybrid, Norwich Office)\n\nA leading Building Services Consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a hybrid role, based primarily out of the Norwich office, with flexibility for remote work and occasional travel for meetings.\nThis opportunity offers the chance to join a respected consultancy working across various sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial, residential, aviation, and defence.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n⦁ Develop and implement electrical designs for a diverse range of projects.\n⦁ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver electrical solutions that align with client requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations.\n⦁ Work autonomously while providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.\n⦁ Encourage a collaborative working environment and promote effective communication and teamwork.\n\nEssential Qualifications and Skills:\n⦁ Minimum of 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within UK Building Services, supported by relevant qualifications.\n⦁ Preferably, membership in professional bodies such as CIBSE or IET.\n⦁ Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering and comprehensive knowledge of Building Services Engineering, including interdisciplinary design at all project stages.\n⦁ Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations.\n⦁ Proficiency in software tools, including Office 365, Amtech (Trimble), Dialux EVO, or Relux.\n⦁ Competence in modern technical delivery methods, including the ability to design and review work produced by others.\n⦁ Experience in a multidisciplinary environment with a track record of leading, motivating, and supervising junior engineers.\n⦁ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability in negotiating, resource planning, team motivation, and management.\n⦁ Commitment to promoting a positive and supportive team environment.\n\nDesirable Skills:\n⦁ Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software packages.\n\nThis role provides a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to a range of exciting projects while developing their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.\n\n#INDME22
