Electrical Design Engineer

We’ve got a fantastic opening for an Electrical Design Engineer within one of our innovative SME manufacturers. They design and manufacture hi-tech capital equipment for worldwide export market, with their head office in the South Wales area and two buzzing overseas offices.

Join their dynamic team to design, develop and test electrical control systems across their cutting-edge bespoke product range. You’ll also be selecting the best hardware to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.

What you’ll be doing:

– Designing top-notch electrical control systems using ePLan

– Choosing the best control hardware

– Testing and developing to make their products even better

What you’ll need

– To be qualified to a minimum of HND or preferably degree level in Electrical and / or Electronic Engineering.

– You will have a strong electrical / controls / automation engineering background designing and developing complex machinery or systems using up to date electrical design software.

– Experienced in the full product life cycle from initial specification through development, build, test, deployment and support.
