Electrical Design Engineer

The Position

Scanivalve designs and produces industry leading, precision instrumentation for many markets including aerospace, automotive, power and turbo machinery. We have a dedicated engineering team made up of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. We are looking to add an additional Electrical Engineer to our team. This position is responsible for the design of new electronics as well as supporting legacy products. You will be working closely with team members from many disciplines to design and implement solutions to advance all of the Scanivalve product lines. The position is on-site at our Liberty Lake, WA factory where we handle all product design & development, manufacturing, test, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Electronic and circuit design focused on embedded processor and mixed analog/digital signal applications
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams with business and production personnel as well as other engineers
• Manage PCB design, layout and assembly
• Creation and management of schematics, BOM’s, and technical documents
• Testing of low-level electronics components and final top-level products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (excluding education & internships)
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and passionate about
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Experience

Prior experience with any of the following:

• Control Systems
• Ethernet TCP/IP
• FPGA/VHDL
• Instrumentation and/or physical measurement
• Environmental Testing (EMI/CE)
• Precision Time Protocol (IEEE-1588)
