Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Provide design services to multiple concurrent projects and provide direct professional support to clients.
• Preparation of drawings and specifications for medium voltage distribution power systems.
• Support other senior engineers in the design of distribution and transmission power.
• Comply with all authorities and utilities requirements and NEC codes.
• Perform field inspections, measurements and calculations.
• Review and estimate construction budgets.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and attend construction meetings.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• BSEE Degree from an ABET-Accredited Engineering Program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license or Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York, or Florida and/or Puerto Rico .
• 5 years of experience minimum
• Experience in design of medium voltage distribution power systems including aerial and underground lines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• AutoDesk REVIT .
• Experience on major infrastructure and building projects .
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems .
• Excellent ability to communicate with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, technicians, office, and field personnel.
