They provide a variety of MEP Design Services at quick, efficient turnarounds and affordable commercial rates while maintaining a very high level of quality. Having vast experience in a range of sectors, from small retail refurbishments to large-scale multi-million-pound M&E contracts.\nYour new role \nYour main purpose ofthe role is the design of electrical engineering for building services.\nIn this role, you willbe:\n\nProviding supervision including mentoring/coaching/development and performance management for a small team of Engineers.\nPlanning and executing agreed plans\nDelivery of complex engineering solutions to agreed time scales and budgets\nAttend design team meetings, working with the wider client team to deliver projects\nProvide technical support for discussion with clients and suppliers\nProvide technical support and guidance for installation and commissioning activities\nSurveying and reporting on electrical systems in buildings\nPrepare technical specifications and drawings using industry-standard software \nUndertaking design calculations\nDesign electrical installations to meet British Standards \nDeveloping design proposals at sketch, detailed design and production stages\nPreparing tender documentation and reportsYou will need toundertake other duties as may be required to achieve objectives.\nWhat you'll need to succeed \nYou will need to have electrical design experience.\nYou will need:\n\nMinimum 6 years' experience within a building services design role\nHNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in Building Services or related subject\nExperience in design software e.g.
AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Relux, Dialux\nExperience contributing to design team meetings \nAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nTo be willing to travelThe ideal candidate would also have, but is notessential:\n\nChartered Engineering status\nAffiliation with industry recognised bodies\nExperience within IES but not essential\nA good understanding of current regulations, particularly the Part L Building Regulations and the changing environmentWhat You'll Get in Return \n\nUp to £55,000\n24 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays\nPaid membership towards CIBSE or IETWhat You Need to do Now \nDoes this sound likesomething you would be interested in or would like to discuss?
