Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building systems design and will be responsible for managing electrical design from schematic stages through construction administration. This role involves conventional planning, detailed engineering assignments, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
  
• Create detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  
• Perform lighting and lighting control designs.
  
• Develop emergency and fire alarm systems.
  
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
  
• Assist in conducting energy audits and identifying efficiency improvements.
  
• Submit utility incentives for energy conservation measures (ECMs).
  
• Maintain documentation throughout design and construction phases.

Requirements:

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical building systems design required.
  
• Proficiency in:
  
  • Power distribution circuiting design
    
  • Lighting and lighting control systems
    
  • Emergency systems
    
  • Fire alarm systems
    
  • Data and telecom infrastructure
    
• Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD (ACAD).
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  
• Experience in multi-family and commercial power/lighting design.
  

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering
  
• At least 5 years of professional electrical design experience (consulting environment )
