Electrical Design Engineer - Controls Systems (AutoCAD, EPLAN)

Job Overview: Join our innovative engineering team as an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Controls Systems. We are actively seeking a seasoned professional with at least three years of experience in controls hardware design, particularly with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN expertise. The role involves creating precise control designs for custom machinery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sophisticated control systems for bespoke machinery, emphasizing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar platforms.
• Conceptualize design solutions, taking into account the optimal level of detail for robust and efficient implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering to refine assembly and quality control processes.
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to ensure continuous progress and resolve any engineering issues promptly.
• Stay abreast of current industry practices, technologies, and methodologies to drive innovation within the design process.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical design software.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years focused on control design.
• Proven ability to swiftly adapt to changes and contribute effectively in a dynamic team setting.
• Expertise in sizing and specifying electrical systems for industrial applications.

Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC systems is advantageous.
• Solid foundation in hardware design principles and practices.
