JOB – Electrical Design Engineer – Renewables

LOCATION – Berkshire

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – circa £55,000 - £90,000 per annum

 

A Berkshire based company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:



HND or equivalent electrical engineering qualifications or relevant discipline.

Good experience in electrical design & control panel design.

Good understanding of 3-phase electrical systems.

Good communication skills.The duties & responsibilities will include:



The development & implementation of electrical designs for control panels.

Integration of renewable energy sources into electrical systems.

The design of both high & low voltage electrical systems.

ESD design & specification for enhanced safety.

Ensuring everything meets the correct safety standards & regulations.

Providing support for minor installation problems – resolving snagging issues etc

Functional testing
