Role Overview:

The Electrical Design Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mechanical design team. This position will directly interface with other leadership members of the company, and will serve as the subject matter expert to their team in the electrical engineering field. Further, this role will be expected to assist and participate in the design process of Company projects, which are large metal enclosures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Directly oversee the Electrical Engineers. Review drawings, documents and specifications.
• Provide managerial insight to the Electrical Design team, serving as the subject matter expert on the field and company projects.
• Participate in company leadership meetings as needed to provide updates and insight on the electrical design team.
• Manage the Electrical Engineers workload and project schedules.
• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of electrical designs.
• Conduct root cause analysis, FAT and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD software to design and layout electrical schematics and components and systems. SolidWorks experience .
• Participate in system design reviews and provide input on electrical requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with AutoCAD software for electrical design
• Understanding of signal processing techniques and their application in electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Industrial Electrical Power Systems.
• Knowledge of all current UL standards, NFPA, and NEC codes.
• Ability to design and implement complex electrical systems.

• At least 6 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer, 3 of which are in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications:

• Experience with battery storage, PV, and renewables is .
• Master’s Degree in related field.
