Job DescriptionJob Description

Tech Research Group (TRG) is seeking uniquely qualified, technically proficient individuals to assist in the development of a wide range of documentation and data for military support equipment development programs. These programs involve systems and equipment used solely to support our soldiers' ability to sleep, eat, and stay healthy in their theater of operation. TRG's area of expertise includes the development of operation and maintenance technical manuals, training support programs, repair and spare part data development, and various engineering-related analyses. All material is developed to MIL standards and requires a background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Former military service is a definite plus. Candidate should be ready to start immediately. Compensation is commensurate with experience and educational background. Please send a resume and cover letter highlighting your strengths to the email address provided. No phone calls please.

Company DescriptionTech Research Group is a small, privately owned firm located in Warwick, RI with a core group of technically-oriented individuals.

TRG’s primary services include the development of operation and maintenance technical manuals, training support materials, illustrations, engineering drawings, provisioning (i.e. repair and spare parts data creation) and various safety and engineering related studies for our government military clients.

The services we provide are collectively referred to as Integrated Logistics Support or ILS. TRG provides these services primarily to the U.S. military under government contract. In many cases, TRG serves as a subcontractor to a prime equipment manufacturer who is under contract to design and manufacture equipment for our troops. In addition to working as a subcontractor to a prime contractor, TRG also works directly with Department of Defense (DOD) civilian and military personnel under direct contract. TRG has developed a long-standing relationship of more than 30 years with the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center located in Natick, MA.

The types of equipment for which TRG creates logistics documentation are primarily soldier support systems that include shelters, field feeding systems, heaters, environmental control systems, personnel and cargo parachutes, and specially designed containerized systems that support our soldiers at their bases of operation both here and abroad.

TRG works closely with the prime contractor of the system to develop all of the documentation needed to operate or maintain these systems. In addition to the development of documentation, there is a need to train instructors and soldiers in the use of the equipment when it is fielded. TRG develops training support materials that include Programs of Instruction, Lesson Plans, Student Guides, PowerPoint Presentations, Video Presentations, and Interactive Multimedia Instructional Courseware. TRG may also deliver training to instructors located at military bases in the United States.Company DescriptionTech Research Group is a small, privately owned firm located in Warwick, RI with a core group of technically-oriented individuals. \r\n\r\nTRG’s primary services include the development of operation and maintenance technical manuals, training support materials, illustrations, engineering drawings, provisioning (i.e. repair and spare parts data creation) and various safety and engineering related studies for our government military clients. \r\n\r\nThe services we provide are collectively referred to as Integrated Logistics Support or ILS.
