Job Responsibilities

·         Develop new designs for controls to meet unique customer requirements;

·         Develop and maintain Bills of Materials for electrical assemblies;

·         Test and confirm designs with prototype department prior to production release;

·         Work with purchasing to source electrical items needed in designs;

·         Support manufacturing engineering on electrical related issues;

·         Troubleshoot control systems of varying designs.

Background and Skills

·         Minimum Two years of experience in Automotive or Industrial Equipment;

·         Minimum Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering related studies;

·         Able to read and interpret schematics from a wide range of sources;

·         Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously;

·         Familiar with J1939/CANbus protocols, structure and monitoring software;

·         Familiar with AutoCAD software;

·         Adept at Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
