Location: Gatton Prison, near Toowoomba Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Pay Rate: $70/hour Travel Allowance: $26.50/day About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Finishing Engineer to join our team for a 6-week project at Gatton Prison, near Toowoomba. In this role, you will be pivotal in the final stages of construction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, completed buildings. Your key responsibilities will include handling the final handover of buildings, closing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection Test Certificates (ITCs), managing redlines, and overseeing QA completion. You will also be involved in completions activities and field closures. Key Responsibilities: Building Handover: Manage the handover process of completed buildings, ensuring all requirements are met. ITP & ITC Closure: Close out Inspection Test Plans and Inspection Test Certificates efficiently and accurately. Redlines: Review and incorporate redlines to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. QA Completion: Ensure all quality assurance tasks are completed to the highest standard. Completions & Field Closures: Oversee final completions activities and manage field closures to project completion. Requirements: Proven experience as a Finishing Engineer or similar role in construction. Strong understanding of ITPs, ITCs, and QA processes. Ability to handle redlines and ensure accurate project documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
