Candidate will provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects, serving as lead electrical engineer when required. Qualified candidate must have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, including ability to interact with clients, contractors, and other engineers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervision of less experienced staff on a project
- Coordination with engineers of other disciplines
- Conducting field inspections of completed installations
- Conducting field visits as part condition assessments and/or design
Additional Qualifications Required:
- Experience and proficiency with Autocad software
- Experience and proficiency with SKM and/or ETAP software
- Working knowledge of Revit BIM software
- 5-10 years in industrial electrical engineering and design
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or related bachelor of science degree
- Professional Engineering License
- Ability to be licensed in additional states at request of Company
Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs. Experience within the water and wastewater industry is highly desirable.

Typical starting pay range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographical location.
•Maryland will be $80,000 – $170,000
