Are you an experienced engineer with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for maintaining high-performance machinery? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company.



About the Role



In this pivotal position, you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of production lines. This includes:



Conducting proactive and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.

Troubleshooting faults to minimize downtime.

Collaborating with production teams to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.

Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Committing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability.



What We're Looking For



To succeed in this role, you'll bring:



A strong electrical bias with mechanical aptitude.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food industry experience is a bonus!).

A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).

Knowledge of PLC fault-finding and automation systems.

A proactive mindset and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.
