Your Role as an Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to our success, collaborating with the team to develop and deliver innovative electrical solutions. You'll play a vital role in shaping projects from design to execution, ensuring efficiency, quality, and technical accuracy.
What You'll Do:
- Design & Develop: Create detailed electrical engineering and construction installation documents.
- Power System Analysis: Prepare short circuit, device coordination, and arc flash studies for industrial, commercial, and utility clients.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Work with internal teams and external disciplines to gather information and complete electrical designs.
- Optimize Pre-Construction: Support SOP development for design interface, pre-fabrication, kitting, and scheduling.
- Ensure Accuracy: Approve initial designs or recommend modifications for constructability, cost, and technology factors.
- Vendor & Shop Drawing Review: Consult with vendors and review shop drawings for design accuracy and contract compliance.
- Oversee & Manage: Supervise third-party engineering firms and consultants.
- Project Execution: Manage select projects in your area of expertise.
- Support & Adapt: Assist with project support as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by senior management.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; FE certification .
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of electrical engineering experience with knowledge of the Electric Code.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset, capable of meeting both company and customer needs.
- Results-Oriented: Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
