As the Electrical Engineer, you are a valuable part of our success collaborating with the team to deliver "Powerful Solutions".
Some of the Work You'll Do:
- Develop and prepare detailed electrical engineering and construction installation documents and provide engineering support for team members.
- Prepare short circuit, device coordination, and arc flash studies for industrial, commercial and utility clients.
- Gather and support other disciplines to acquire necessary information to complete electrical design.
- Support and develop SOP in Pre-Construction (i.e. design interface, pre-fabrication, kitting, scheduling, etc.).
- Plan and coordinate engineering activities to develop and apply standardized design criteria and production requirements.
- Approve initial design and/or recommend modifications based on constructability, cost, and component technology factors.
- Consult with vendors and review project shop drawings for design accuracy and contract requirements.
- Analyze product design data to determine conformance to established design selection criteria, use of standardized parts and equipment, and design-to-cost ratio.
- Oversite and management of third-part engineering firms and consultants.
- Manage select projects as designated in areas of expertise.
- Assist with project support as needed.
- Assumes additional tasks assigned by senior management or which are logically inherent to this position.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, with FE certification .
- Minimum 1 year of electrical engineering experience, with knowledge of the Electric Code.
- Technical expertise in various electrical systems, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Team player with strong communication skills, capable of meeting company and customer needs.
- Basic power system operational knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, vendors, and customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
