Founded in 1987, RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC is a 125-person Manhattan-based firm that designs, specifies, and administers restoration, upgrade, and adaptive re-use programs on behalf of owners, managers, and co-op and condo boards.

We currently have an opening in our Midtown office for an Electrical Engineer on our MEP team. We seeking engineers for HVAC Systems Design and Project Management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years’ Experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD with prior experience designing in an MEP Revit a plus.
  • Knowledge of local and building codes
  • Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
  • Knowledge of reference standards (ASHRAE, IECC, NFPA)
  • Knowledge of Building Systems (Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment managing multiple projects
  • EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. a plus

*Responsibilities:

  • Design Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems From Inception to Complete Construction Documents
  • Complete all Phases of Design from Schematic through Construction Administration
  • Survey of Existing Building Conditions
  • Assist in the Preparation of Reports
  • Knowledge of NYC Filing Requirements and Procedures
  • Coordination Between Architectural and Engineering Disciplines
