Electrical Engineer
One of our clients in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON region is looking for an Electrical Engineer for their facility.
Shift: Day Shift
Pay - $80K to $100K
Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Design power distribution systems, control panels, and electronic circuits.

Project Management:
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure integration of electrical systems into overall designs.
- Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and technical documentation.

Testing & Validation:
- Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of electrical systems and components.
- Troubleshoot design issues and recommend solutions to meet performance criteria.

Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL).
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.

Support & Maintenance:
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend system improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- GM Programming Certificate: A must-have to succeed in this role.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering (5+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and circuit design.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, ANSI, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
