Employment Type: Full-time | HybridAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in building systems design for high-profile projects across the U.S. This role offers the opportunity to contribute technical expertise to a diverse portfolio, collaborating with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering electrical systems that support sustainability, efficiency, and innovation. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys taking ownership of design solutions while ensuring project success.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to develop electrical system designs for a variety of projects.
- Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, electronic models, and reports.
- Coordinate with utility companies and secure necessary electrical permit approvals.
- Prepare and manage technical and financial project proposals.
- Lead engineering solutions from concept through detailed design stages.
- Oversee the quality and efficiency of work completed by junior engineers and technicians.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proactively manage workload, balancing deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Monitor project finances, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in the building services and construction industry.
- Experience in higher education, cultural institutions, commercial spaces, transportation hubs, or stadiums is highly .
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus.
- LEED AP accreditation .
- Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with electrical analysis tools such as fault analysis and lighting design software.
- Ability to solve complex technical issues and provide well-structured solutions.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience writing technical reports for direct client delivery.
