Electrical Engineer Job description:
Execute Electrical Harness and Schematic projects. May conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable. Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five years of related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Harness Routing & Packaging in heavy equipment domain
- Hands on experience on Creo Schematic/diagram, Part design, Assembly & Drafting.
- Utilize Creo to create highly integrated designs within the machine platforms
- Good experience in verification of harness design rules, Illustration drawings and layout preparation.
- Have knowledge on Electrical systems and able to understand Schematics / Circuit design.
- Good Knowledge on components used for wiring harness design. (Wire types and its selection, Fuses, Relays, Controllers, connectors, coverings, support clips etc.)
- Knowledge on sheet metal design and automotive wire harness manufacturing process is added advantage.
- Should be ready to work on multiple harness and schematic development tools.
Should be able to interact with customers and provide solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Interpersonal & communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience with CAD Software.
- Previous working knowledge of NPI process
